Best Lawyers, the oldest peer-reviewed publication in the legal profession, has honored both the law firm of Trevett Cristo Salzer & Andolina, P.C. and six of its partners with inclusion in the 2015 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. The firm is listed in the U.S. News & World Report/Best Lawyers list for 2015 as one of the “Best Law Firms” in the country.

Bill La Forte was recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” in New York State real estate law. This is a rare honor because only a single lawyer in each practice area in each community is given this recognition. Additionally, Bill, Larry Andolina, Lou, Mike Harren, Karl Salzer and Don Twietmeyer have each received “Best Lawyer” honors. Karl and Larry have each been on the Best Lawyer list since 1983, Mike has been honored since 1986, Don has been listed since 2007, Bill has been on the list since 2010 and Lou has been included since 2014.

Bill La Forte has concentrated his practice in real estate development since the mid1970s.He is the firm’s principal attorney in representing real estate developers. He has worked extensively in counseling them in all types of development projects, including numerous major commercial leases and planned unit developments, which include condominium and townhouse projects. Bill counsels and represents clients in all aspects of obtaining municipal approvals for the development of a client’s parcel of real estate. He regularly appears before municipal boards seeking zoning and site plan approvals for the development of real estate.
Lou Cristo focuses his practice in the areas of litigation, personal injury, products liability, and environmental,commercial, corporate and business litigation. Among his other awards are being designated a Top Rated Lawyer inInsurance Law, Top Attorneys in Upstate New York, Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, and Upstate New York Personal Injury Defense Super Lawyer.
Larry Andolina applies 40 years’ experience to the rights of members of the law enforcement and public service community. His practice includes the areas of criminal defense, general litigation, civil rights litigation, public sector labor union law, and personal injury. Larry has been recognized as a Best Lawyer for 31 years. He has also been honored as an Upstate New York Criminal Defense SuperLawyer, is a Fellow of the New York State Bar Association,and is listed in Who’s Who in American Law.
Don Twietmeyer’s practice focuses on business and corporate law, estates and trusts, taxation, estate planning, business succession planning and tax planning. He has been recognized as an Upstate New York Estate Planning andProbate Super Lawyer, is the recipient of the 2008 Raymond J.Pauley Award from the Monroe County Bar Association’s Center for Education, and is listed in Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in America.
