Focusing her practice on labor and employment litigation, union issues, and employee benefits law, Lapoff has represented unions, employees, employers, and employee benefit plans in federal and state court. She is a federal court-trained mediator with a wide range of alternative dispute resolution experience.

Lapoff holds a J.D., cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. In 2012, she was was awarded the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center Humanitarian Award, and was honored in 2013 by the Daily Record as a Top Woman in Law. Lapoff is a member of Toastmasters Chapter 476, the American Bar Association, the Monroe County Bar Association, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She is a frequent public speaker on labor, employment, and benefits matters.
