Trevett Cristo is proud to announce that Bill LaForte, a partner with the firm, will conclude his 2-year term as Chairman of the Board of the American Heart Association’s Northeast Affiliate (“Founders”) on June 30, 2019.
The “Founders” Affiliate is one of 7 Affiliates in the country, serving 8 states in the Northeast, and its Board consists of Cardiologists, Clinicians & Researchers, and Business Executives from the 8 states in the Affiliate. Bill has been involved in the AHA on a local, regional, and national level for over 25 years. During his tenure as Chair of the Northeast Affiliate, the Affiliate achieved substantial growth in research dollars for heart and stroke disease. Additionally, the Affiliate was involved in a number of public policy initiatives, operating as the driving force behind the passage of several state laws aimed to better protect our health and improve the overall health of our communities.
